I am not sure if I should or should not feel proud that I have decided to actually re-read "To Kill a Mockingbird" for this course instead of watching the movie.
The dramatically lowered bar might usurp my feeling of accomplishment.
From Wikipedia: In 2006, British librarians ranked the book ahead of the Bible as one "every adult should read before they die."
Last year was the 50th anniversary of "To Kill a Mockingbird" being published. I still haven't read it but your post just might finally guilt me into it. : )
